In the Qur'ān, Allāh ﷻ constantly encourages us to engage in Tadabbur—the deep reflection on His creation—as a means to draw closer to Him. This October, join us for a 2-day retreat with Mufti Wasim and other esteemed scholars, as we embark on a journey to disconnect from the distractions of this world, reflect on the signs of Allāh ﷻ, and reconnect with our Creator.

“Do they not reflect upon themselves? Allāh created the heavens and the earth and everything in between with the truth and for an appointed term. Yet many people are truly in denial of the meeting with their Lord.”
(Qur'ān 30:8)

This retreat is an opportunity to step away from the noise and chaos of daily life, much like the Ṣaḥābah who distanced themselves from distractions to walk the noble path of knowledge and devotion. By following in their footsteps, we too can purify our hearts, gain knowledge, and strengthen our connection with Allāh ﷻ.

“Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, are signs for those of understanding. Who remember Allāh while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], ‘Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.’”
(Qur'ān 3:190-191)

This journey is not just about physical retreat but about spiritual rejuvenation. As the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ said:

“Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allāh will make easy for him a path to Paradise.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

Let this retreat be your path to Paradise, a chance to seek knowledge, reflect on the signs of Allāh ﷻ, and return to your daily life with a renewed sense of purpose and faith.

“And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allāh is with the doers of good.”
(Qur'ān 29:69)
